Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Corner View Ventures Pvt Ltd ("PawPost", "we", "us") and govern your use of the PawPost mobile app and getpawpost.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance & changes

By accessing or using the Service you accept these Terms. We may update them from time to time; if we make material changes we'll update the "Last updated" date and may notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use PawPost. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow them to register.

3. Your account

You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Provide accurate information, keep it current, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account control → Delete my account.

4. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information, and our Cookie & Tracking Technologies Policy explains the technologies we use. By using the Service you consent to those practices.

5. License to use the app

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, captions, and comments you post ("Content"), and you represent that you have the rights to share them. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, and display your Content — and to share it with the service providers that operate the Service on our behalf (for example, generating thumbnails, transcoding video, and showing your Content on home-screen widgets) — solely to provide the Service to you and the family groups you belong to. This license ends when you delete the Content or your account, except (a) for Content shared into a family group that still has other members, which may remain part of that family's shared album, and (b) for copies retained in routine backups for a limited period.

Please note: once you share Content with your family group, other members may have seen it, and it may appear on their home-screen widgets and devices. Deleting it from your account does not guarantee removal of copies others have already received or saved.

7. Acceptable use and objectionable content

Zero tolerance. PawPost has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines will be removed, and the accounts responsible may be suspended or terminated.

You agree not to post Content or behave in any way that:

  • is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or hateful;
  • is sexually explicit or pornographic, or depicts graphic violence or cruelty (including animal cruelty);
  • infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
  • is spam, fraudulent, or contains malware or harmful code;
  • harvests others' information, or uses bots, scraping, or automated means to access the Service;
  • impersonates any person or misrepresents your identity or affiliation; or
  • interferes with, disrupts, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.

8. Reporting, blocking, and enforcement

Every post and comment can be reported from within the app, and you can block any other member so you no longer see their Content. We review reports of objectionable content and act on them within 24 hours — removing content that violates these Terms and ejecting the users responsible. We may remove Content, or suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion to keep the community safe, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and the PawPost name and logos, is owned by Corner View Ventures Pvt Ltd and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for your own Content and as expressly permitted here, you may not use, copy, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written permission. Some animations in the app are used under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license and are credited in the app's Acknowledgements.

10. Copyright complaints

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe Content on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@getpawpost.com with: a description of the work, the location of the infringing Content, your contact details, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized, and a statement that your notice is accurate. We remove infringing Content and terminate repeat infringers. (U.S. users: this serves as our DMCA notice procedure.)

11. Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party services — including Google and Apple sign-in, Google Firebase, Mux for video, and Google AdMob for advertising. Your use of those features may be subject to the third party's own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your dealings with them are at your own risk.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including content-ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement), to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Corner View Ventures Pvt Ltd and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the claim, or USD 100 (or local equivalent).

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Corner View Ventures Pvt Ltd, its affiliates, and their officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person — except to the extent caused by our own negligence or misconduct.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@getpawpost.com so we can try to resolve the matter informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at our registered office in India, or resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in India, where required. (Jurisdiction and registered office to be finalized on company registration.)

17. Apple App Store — additional terms

If you download PawPost from the Apple App Store, the following also apply:

  • These Terms are between you and Corner View Ventures Pvt Ltd only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • Apple is not responsible for any product warranties or for addressing any claims relating to the app (including product-liability, legal/regulatory, or intellectual-property claims).
  • You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist-supporting", and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

18. Google Play — additional terms

If you download PawPost from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. To the extent of any conflict, these Terms govern your relationship with us regarding the app (not your relationship with Google).

19. General

  • These Terms (with the Privacy and Cookie policies) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
  • Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • We are not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. outages, natural disasters, or network failures).
