Delete your account & data

You can delete your PawPost account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what gets removed.

Delete from within the app (fastest)

1. Open PawPost and go to the Settings tab.
2. Scroll to Account control.
3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately and you're signed out.

Request deletion without the app

If you can't access the app, email support@getpawpost.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify your request and delete your account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile — name, email, username, and profile photo.
• Your login credentials and authentication record.
• Your membership in every family group, and your pending invitations and notifications.
• Any family group where you are the only member — including its pets, posts, photos, and videos — is deleted entirely.

What may be retained

• Shared family history: if you posted content in a family group that still has other members, that content belongs to the shared family album and may remain visible to those members. If you'd like specific content removed first, delete it (or leave the group) before deleting your account, or contact us.
• Backups & logs: residual copies in routine backups and system logs are purged on a rolling basis, and limited records may be kept where required by law.
